BloomHart offers self-pay care and accepts eligible Aetna plans and Original Medicare for Maryland telehealth services. Insurance availability can vary by plan, service, patient location, and current enrollment status.

Using insurance
We verify coverage before your initial evaluation.
- Start with a complimentary consultation. We confirm clinical fit, age, location during telehealth, and availability.
- Tell us how you plan to pay. If you plan to use insurance, we will securely collect your plan information and card after the consultation.
- Review your expected responsibility. We check available benefits and discuss applicable copay, coinsurance, deductible, prior-authorization, or self-pay information before scheduling.
- Complete secure intake. Private health information, consents, and payment details are handled through the secure patient portal, never a general website form.
Self-pay remains available
Choose the payment approach that fits your circumstances.
Self-pay patients receive written fee and cancellation information before care. Uninsured or self-pay patients may receive a Good Faith Estimate when required or requested. If you use a plan that is not yet accepted by BloomHart, you may ask your insurer about out-of-network benefits; reimbursement is not guaranteed.

BloomHart is completing Iowa Medicaid enrollment and has submitted participation requests to additional commercial plans. Medicare Advantage plans are separate from Original Medicare and require their own network participation.
